BIGCOUNTERS(OPCSDEFS)	Optical Printer Control System BIGCOUNTERS(OPCS)

    NAME
bigcounters - enable/disable the large counter display

    SYNOPSIS
        bigcounters [on/off]

    DESCRIPTION
You have the choice of having the large or small counter display.
Both displays contain the same information.

bigcounters on # use big counters
bigcounters off # use small counters

With one of the above commands in your OPCSDEFS.OPC file, the
system will always start up with the mode you prefer.

    COUNTERS
The default 'big' frame counters (See BIGCOUNTERS(OPCSDEFS)) are
limited to 6 digits. If a counter clocks above 999,999, or below
-99,999, the display recycles to zero. This is only true of the
display..the software still keeps track of the real position.

This is NOT the case if 'BIGCOUNTERS' is disabled; numbers in the
'small counter' display will not be clipped. Disable BIGCOUNTERS
in the opcsdefs.opc if you need frame counts above 999,999.

    BUGS
See above regarding counter digit clipping.

Currently, errors detected in OPCSDEFS files do not print the line
number on which the error was detected.
