Is anyone using any public domain (or commercial) frame checkers once renders jobs are complete? Specifically, I would love to be able to run a script that tells me the total number of frames per directory, frame range (to check for missing frames), verify frame data sizes (assumes no RLE or anything), and possibly even resolution of first, middle and last frame.

It seems like every studio has their homegrown tools and the newer shops don't even both to use such tools.

ImageMagick or possibly even Perl's image module might work for you here.
