hi..
we have just updated to 102.42

works excellent except macs offcourse, anyway..almost done but this i dont get... any ideas..

Starting "/Applications/Alias/maya7.0/Maya.app/Contents/bin/maya"
*** Fatal Error: Failed creating directory: /Alias/maya

Maya could not create the necessary startup directories.

Please check for sufficient disk space and necessary write permissions.

The above error most likely means Maya couldn't create the
~fred/Documents/maya temp directory that it needs in order to run.

I'd suggest you verify the user's home directory exists and is writable
on the machine that tried to render that frame.

ie. if the render is running as user 'fred', make sure 'fred'
has a valid home directory on that machine that is writable to fred,
and that a ~fred/Documents directory exists and is writable.

One way to check: jump on that machine and login as the user,
either via ssh or login through the console.

I believe maya won't run and shows the above 'confusing' error
if there's no home directory for the user, and/or if Maya
doesn't have write access to ~/Documents.
