Hello,

I'm getting this error when I try and render on certain machines.

CreateProcess(c:/rush/bin/rushd -d --spawn
C:/TEMP.RUSH_24/.spawnfile): Coulnd't invoke script or program. Try
specifying interopreter to invoke script, eg. 'perl foo.pl')

Hi Stefan,

Hmm, is there some more context then that?

If this is from a frame log, it would be best if they pasted
the entire frame log (including the headers), and do an exact paste,
as typos can mislead trouble shooting.

My guess is that perl was recently installed on this machine
/after/ perl was installed, such that 'perl' is not in rushd's
path. The simple fix being either restart the rushd service,
	or reboot the box.

Or, possibly perl was not installed into the System Environment's
PATH, such that only the logged in user has perl in their PATH,
not all users (esp. the user the rushd service is running as)

Either that, or there might be something wrong with the .pl
file association for perl on that machine.

I can probably tell more by being able to see the complete log file.

One of the computers that is generating this error is also the machine
that is submitting the render. The two computers that doens't render
does however submit renders fine... so... well... what could be the
problem?

Are there any other details, like was this a recent install
of rush/perl on the machines, or is this an old install
that started acting up, say, after a Microsoft Update?

Is this a WinNT box, or Win2k/XP?
