Group policy can also be defined through Active Directory (AD), as
opposed to manual
configuration on each machine.
I've set up the same system here, where all 3D windows workstations exist
within an AD organizational unit that applies a set of logon and logoff
scripts. It also applies a system startup script that copies the rush
config, license
and hosts-file from a central location, just in case the machine has
been offline during
an update.
I've made the -getoff note the username of who logged on, meaning it's very easy
to spot who is forgetting to log off... ;-)
