Thanks for the replies. Interesting reading.
I'm still trying to wrap my mind around rush's architecture.

I'm used to exactly the opposite approach as we (and other companies Iworked for) have a reasonably good control over users' environments,specially in respect to specific projects they're working on.

I'll be using LoadEnvFromCsh() for the time being.
