Sorry for not giving feedback sooner, it was a hard week here. Thanks
for doing this so fast and nice! Seems to work quite well.
Only thing that isn't working for me with the new build is that after
restarting the app the number in parentheses which signals the core
count isn't showing anymore. With the old build it worked just fine.
(Talking about rushtop on a Mac Pro with 10.4). Strange thing is: if I
switch on the option the paranthesis appear, but the layout of the lines
is strange because I have a big grey gap after the first 5 lines. If I
quit and restart the app the gap is gone, but the parantheses as well.
Tell me if I should send you screenshots or test something.
BTW: seems you have read my mind there, because after sending you the
original post I thought it would be nice to still see the amount of
cores somewhere. Then you have send the first build and it was already
in there :)

I have an update for the rushtop with the single cpu bar mode;
Dylan noticed that if "Use Decay" mode is on, all the bars 'pulsate'
instead of bouncing smoothly.
I hadn't noticed this, because I had been testing with "Use Decay"
mode turned off (right click, choose Properties -> Use Decay to toggle)
When disabled, the bars act normally.
Anyway, I just uploaded a new zip file with a fix for this:

This new version advertises its build date as being '07/01/09'
when rushtop is invoked with the '-help' flag, eg:
