	I don't think that should be relevant.

	I doubt permissions are the issue.

	It's more likely the process hierarchy being disconnected somehow.

	I'm guessing when you requeue/dump/getoff/etc,
	the python script is getting killed properly,
	but somehow the renders remain running due to their being backgrounded somehow.
