Subject: Windows 8: Rush 102.42a9c and Rush 103.x verified on Windows 8

    Those of you running 102.42a9c will be happy to know this version
    runs just fine on Windows 8. So does the new Rush 103 release.

    No special updates or instructions are needed.

    Activestate's perl installs correctly as well (5.14.2 was used for testing),
    again, no caveats.

    Tests were done on a Mac Mini 2011 system running the stock Windows 8 Pro x64
    installed from DVD with Rush 102.42a9c, Maya 2012, and Activeperl 5.14.2.
    Rush 103.02 was also tested.

    The Rush guis (irush, onrush, rushtop, rushadmin) all show up in the new
    Windows 8 Metro interface "Start" and "Apps" screens:
