    I would assume if they are plugins into softimage/maya, and can be
    invoked by regular command line rendering of those packages,
    then it should work fine with little or no modification of the script.
    (The only mods I can think of would be the possible need to specify
    PLUGIN environment variables that point the renderer at where
    shave+haircut is installed)

    Assuming it pops no guis during rendering, there shouldn't be
    a problem.
