In the late 80's, I really dug this independent surreal freaky comic that came out called 'Ed The Happy Clown', by Chester Brown. Nothing happy about it, it's very dark. In that comic, there's a character named 'Josie', who this is a likeness of.
I'd had an old childhood experience with a young girl who
thought she might be a witch. I wanted to write an east coast
story about this and animate it.. but I continue to have writers
block on that one.
