Found this little beauty while roadside fishing on a deserted road in Connecticut. It's a 3M telephone splicing terminal block in excellent condition. These black cylindical objects are usually found hanging from the wires between phone poles. This one was apparently spliced out of the overhead wires near where I found it, abandoned in a gutter by local Ma Bell workers.
"Hey Greg, how many rounds per minute you get outta that thing?!" - jwalt
Mom: "If you're not taking that thing back to Los Angeles, throw it away." Sigh.
